A ray of sunshine mixed with all of your dreams coming true
Making music is my release. I hope to break down all those walls of inhibition to be able to create a the most beautiful release. Artists like Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Fiona Apple, Erykah Badu, Jeff Buckley, and Bjork knew/know what this is. I've been doing this since I was very young, and doing Jazz since I was 14. I have had some incredible opportunities in my life to learn from some world renowned jazz musicians, such as Roberta Gambarini, Vince Falcone, Houston Person, Jeff Hamilton, Tamir Hendelman, and Dee Daniels during my time at Lionel Hampton School of Music. Thanks for being friends with Fair Trade Music PDX! As you know, we're still gathering intelligence about how venues in town are treating their bands. So far, the story's not too good, but a few of them looks like they might be willing to man up and pay musicians some kind of guaranteed minimum wage - the kind that is the law for dishwashers, janitors, bartenders, and every other service worker in the club.
