"Everybody’s looking for their identity. The world we’re living in today presses us to follow some social conventions, some models. And our own identity is kept away…lost for ever. We’re lobotomised by the traffic, the television, the technology, Hollywood, satellites, glamour, fame, money, we're naked bodies asking for a glance…we all are narcissus, casually oriented towards one of the thousands senseless roads, after being robbed of our personality. I wake up in the morning and I keep singing. Then, my singing becomes me and I become my singing. I can’t help doing it. When I was a child, sick at home, my grandma used to tell me “baby, you got hight temp but you sing!?” Yes grandma, I just can’t stop it. This is the only thing that's really important to me. When I sing, whatever and however I sing, I suddently get an identity. When a soul, blues, funky, jazz, hip hop soundtrack becomes part of my grey life background, I can finally understand what is that I am living for. All the rest just vanishes, as if the real world was the one I am living at that special moment. A parallel dimension where I’m not only one small pawn amongst the others, but I am the indisputable queen making love to music."

Micha Soul, was born in Belgium-Brussels in 1978 from Italian parents. She stays in her mother-country until she's 18 and then moves to Italy for graduating as a translater 5 years later. Black music is part of her life since her tender age thanks to her mother who was a lover of the pure soul and was used to breath the classics of black music 24 hours a day...Micha's father was a radio speaker in his own private radio which was set up for the italian people living in Belgium and used to propose black music genre as well as italian classics. Micha Soul is part of the big family and crew Fuoco Negli Occhi, composed by her brother, her husband and Chiodo. The group is receiving some important success and respect from the underground environment of the italian rap scene. Their prior aim is to go against the unhestetical and art-killer musical trends and to burn the plastic surrounding the music industry nowadays. NEW PROJECTS:

Micha is preparing her solo work which will be hopefully released in 2010. In the meantime, she's working on her husband LP which will be realesed in september 2009, participating with her voice in some tracks and adding an original element to the masterpiece.....get ready for the "BRAINSTORM"!
