    .. ^*^ WELCOME ^*^.. .. IT ALL COMES BACK TO ME ... THE OLD MOB BOSS TELLING ME : HEY KID ... YOU WERE BORN TO BE AN ARTIST ... .. Michelangelo Bonaparte is a name given to me a while back by a good friend and scholar of Italian/Roman culture from Dallas,Texas. We both come from the original PUNK ROCK generation ... .. I was born in Calabria, Italy. The first of many children abandoned by my father. Ten years after my birth my mother moved to Detroit in search of a "more suitable life" - I followed the proceeding year. In Motown I was adopted by urban street gangs, mobsters, the cultural revolution and the underground music scene. I learned at a early age all about extreme capitalism, corruption, injustice, racism, false morality and the "time is money" credo . Unfortunately there are many "mature" people in our society incapable of finding their own spiritual side ... It's very unfortunate because it would make life much more pleasent and easier to live.I have seen firsthand the hierarchy of evil in the good 'ol USA and EUROPE. My songs were not excogitated in some suburban recreation room ... My inspiration comes from a life that has been lived. I'm fully knowledgeable of the nightmare that squirms beneath the AMERICAN DREAM. ..Yeah Mr. JIMI HENDRIX... I am very experienced. It's my belief that one must be fully aware of the human condition, get around and live a little in order to truly understand and appreciate PLATO, ARISTOTLE, SENECA,PATRONIUS, ST AUGUSTINE, PETRARCH, BOCCACCIO, MACHIAVELLI and so on ... .. I have been deceived, betrayed, left for dead, framed, railroaded and defamed... All by the age of twenty-one. Despite all this,or perhaps,everything that has happened to me has enabled me to find my depth as a human being. I've been rich and I've been poor.I've been good, I've been bad but I've never been evil. ..Have encountered countless ugly situations ..... I think that for the purpose of justifying most bad actions people tend to see the TRUTH subjectively. Reason is the greatest gift we posess as humans,it always leads to the truth. Yes, time has tought me that TRUTH is most certainly objective, it's UNIVERSAL ... It's ESSENTIAL ... And most propably the greatest obstacle we'll have to face just before death. Growing up in the mean streets of America has made my life similar to a Martin Scorsese's"gangster" movie... .. Now that I'm back visitin' Italy The world's greatest livin' musium. THE BIRTHPLACE OF THE SEVEN MUSICAL NOTES AND THE HOMELAND OF ALL TERMINOLOGY RELATED TO WESTERN MUSIC *.. This grand center of RELIGION, ART, ARCHITECTURE, SCIENCE, LITERATURE,FASHION,GASTRONOMY and so on ..... This great patrimony of WESTERN CULTURE. I walk the streets of the MAGNA GRECIA, ETERNAL ROME, the RENAISSANCE and so on ... The streets of the MASTERS ... The streets of GREAT HISTORY and FUTURISM. ..And then, I must wonder that in contrast to those DIVINE seven musical notes that surrond all this beauty we have, AL CAPONE ... BENITO MUSSOLINI ... THE BORGIAS ... and all the other inciters of brutality throughout the ages. I have seen all facets of humankind GOOD, BAD and UGLY. I have MUCH to say, and MUSIC to play.* A special salute goes out to my ex band Country Bob and the Blood Farmers(Impact Records), and to all my American Friends.
