OKay now for some chatter ;)

My life is seriously crazy..well i am crazy... and its just so weird/peculiar/ and awesome how things come together and fall apart ... its better when they all just come together but i do believe the falling apart process is simply necessary for the chill balance of it all...

I believe all these strange little things in life happen for a reason... its quite nice when you can look at all the positive and negative and make sense of it all, right? its nice to smile from something so great, and even frown from something not so great knowing that it is merely a lesson learned, a fortification of 'you' - hmmmm ... well where do i go from here: I guess i will finally brace myself and start spilling my 'ish so u can know me...It has taken some time but i've realized there is no one else to be in this world besides ourselves, right?...I have grown sick of trying to sugar coat everything to make my life look fancy...its really not...its just crazy..the more u get to know me, my songs, my life..u will see ..so here i go...if i get boring have a drink with it, like an alcoholic drink (if u r 21 that is!!!) might make it sound better ;)

Hmmm now where to start...I'm 25..im bullheaded, stubborn, emotional, somewhat intense, but i'm also a love bug and quite friendly...Music started with my Grandfather while he was in the shower, sawing wood, or drinking heavy amounts of alcohol...passed it on to my Moms who kept only the shower part and later she included church, weddings, funerals, etc, etc... which she forced (okay, well we got to choose) all of her five kids into, which i am 4 out of five... I attribute my craziness from her...it sounds like a bad thing but its really not...

Spent most of my life in a woodsy area...i used to climb into dumpsters with my best friend when they were building an addition in the piney development i lived in - we thought we could build our own mini house with the scraps we found in the dumpsters ..well we had a vision and the belief so regardless if her step-dad actually put up the walls himself, we thought we were pretty cool and creative...we gathered the product, got our hands dirty, and believed it was possible..and because of that it happened... like anything else..see it, believe it, have faith in the good Lord, and it be done! Thats how my life is :) So yes, I am Christian... just in case u were wondering, but I am human & i make many mistakes - okay, moving on...

So i started singing as a tot..who knows how old i really was...my mom thinks three or four but that really doesnt matter...i never played an instrument until recently (few years ago i started teaching myself piano/keyboard and learning more everyday!) I was always just a singer but had a sense/felt i could play an instrument one day - i got so tired of telling everyone that my instrument was my voice! blah blah blah! Yes, it is my instrument, but i loved music more than just singing it...i wanted to be it and create it, mold it and sculpt it... My songwriting began in the third grade when i had to write a "times-table-song"...everyone else in the class made a song using another popular song's melody...i decided to be brave and had this great feeling i could make my own up!!! ------ It sucked!!!! Soooo bad!!! I still think my group hated me bc it sucked that bad but in the end i had my first song and honestly the melody still sticks with me to this day.... and no i will never sing it to u! :P

Ahhh so so the next topic "Melody" ... since that time back in the third grade i started hearing melodies in my head..sometimes paired with some catchy lyrics, sometimes just some humming, and "da-da-daaa-ing" ...My mother had an old cassette recorder which i got my hands on and whenever i had one of those little melodies, i would run up to my room, shut the door and press RECORD! Still have those little beautiful pieces of pooh to this day :) ahhh, the road to songwriting!!!

So it took me some time...i knew i wanted to write music but was too afraid to really sing any of my stuff for anyone...and on top of that my voice wasnt quite developed and my ideas of focused genres/styles were constantly changing (and actually still are to this day) - i could really elaborate more on this topic but im getting kinda bored myself so i will try to be brief...It wasnt until 2007 when i finished my first studio EP (which i really dont want u to hear haha, but if u choose to thats okay..) but yeah, wasnt until 2007 that i actually sang my original songs for an audience for the first time! Crazy huh?! Years of writing, singing my stuff in the shower, my friend's closet, my cool little room, and it took me until 2007 when i was 23 to finally let an audience into my crazy little world....

Well here i am now, a lot on my mind as usual but i really dont want to type anymore so i will probably either finish this some other time, put it into song or just have a wild dream about it..who knows...Well go ahead and enjoy life now and be thankful for all those little battles that caused u to curse urself into a stupor bc those are the things that give life character and the only way for u to become stronger... and they also make the great things in life even greater...so just smile and have a splendid day:)
