"Aborigine" is a delight. I can't say enough about the sweet sounds of Michele Korb's vocals...sometimes barely there, pulling you in to listen more closely and then, what a prize. Her voice is so clear, and perfecly matched for these well chosen songs, so beautifully arranged by Tom Theabo. Tom can make a beautiful song even more so with his artful arrangements. He and Michele, both on guitar, are so in sync that you cannot seperate their sounds; they work lovely, wound together playfully. It is a pleasure and joy to listen to this first jazz cd of Korb's. I can't seem to turn it off and I look forward to more of her wonderful work. - Donna Ruzicka, jazz vocalist, Wisconsin

"No immediate comparisions come to mind… mix one part sensitive storyteller with one part swingin songstress, Michele Korb’s latest CD is one to just simply enjoy. No high pitched wails or inconsistencies, Korb has it all under control both vocally and musically all by herself but chooses very wisely, and with superb taste, to work with the very talented, and always innovative, Tom Theabo. Together Theabo and Korb are a breathe of fresh air." Lisa Roti, jazz singer, Chicago, IL
