My Husband and My Children. Finding out all I can about real, honest, nutrition. Making choices that are the best for my family, and the earth in general. When I think of the gifts that I've been blessed with, I can't imagine leaving this earth sooner than I need to and missing out on my beautiful children growing into the amazing people that I know they are going to be!
I like to ride my bike, clean house, read to my kids, cheer for Jason, Avery, and Austin in their sporting endeavors...
..
Music
I listen to all music, I don't know who sings it, or what it's called, but if I can sing along to it, I listen to it. It also doesn't matter what station it's on either since I just flip the station between every song I don't like anyway.. my radio stations aren't even set in my car.
Movies
I do like a lot of old movies, but we usually just watch family movies. Anything that comes out in theaters that looks funny. I don't watch anything horror, or.. here's a big hint, if there are explosions, gun battles, or hostage negotiations, you can pretty much guess that it wouldn't interest me. At all.
..
Television
Biggest Loser, Deal or No Deal, Conan O'Brian, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Hell's Kitchen, you tell 'em chef Ramsay!.... etc, you get it.... OH!! I almost forgot.. the only thing I get to watch during the day is Cash Cab. It's swell.
Books
I don't really read any books, but I do read everything I can ...Lately, I've discovered vegetarian cookbooks and magazines, which I'm THRILLED about! I'm a researcher by nature, so I actually waste HOURS online just surfing through news stories, surveys, new discoveries, really anything I think is interesting. I've never been a fan of any fiction though.
Heroes
My Grandparents, the founding fathers of our country... I have a lot of heroes, Our service men and women,All of the Faithful and Inspired Missionaries all over the world!
My Hilarious Husband!!
The Fabulous, Beautiful, Talented, Amazing AVERY!!
My Remarkable, Momma's boy, Wildman Austin!
My Sweet, lover (you can't catch me) Baby Jude....
Last but not least, My peaceful Mitchell!
About me: I've recently discovered the horrible truth about routine infant male circumcision.. and I'd like to publicly state here that 1.)I'm an intactivist and 2.) I'm sorry for not knowing more for my two older boys.. and not in that order either.
I've decided to post some links to aid you in understanding why I'm so adamantly opposed to Routine Infant Circumcision.
Other than the fact that nobody would have DARED to suggest to me that I should have much of my infant daughter's genitalia sliced off shortly after birth to prevent infection or some other supposed or implied risk of disease... there are actually well documented reasons why the same should hold true for our precious infant sons.
You can see for yourself here:
Who I'd like to meet: Gordon B. Hinckley, Jesus Christ, My Father's other siblings... some other people who I am not at liberty to discuss! haahaa
Also, I'd like to get to know myself a little bit better, without all the flurries and destractions getting in the way.. I think I'm on that path right now.
yeah. it was all arranged at work.. some people are so disrespectful and dont care about anyone but themselves.. which is sad because she is soon to be a mother. ya think she would have a heart!
There is a "notes" option on facebook, or something like that..you should post in there as well..People just need a reason to continue to justify the surgery..just like it was supposed to cure masterbation and seizures and everything else!
