Violinist Michele Walther loves to play and perform a variety of music styles: jazz, world music, avantgarde, classical, tango, Balkan, klezmer, and more.
- She toured with Ian Anderson/Jethro Tull on the East coast, from Chicago to Philadelphia, performing in venues such as the Rose Theatre in NYC.
- She performed with Los Gatos Azules (tango – 1st prize at the battle of the tango bands in Boston), Los Changos (jazz, folk from Argentina), Pablo Ablanedo Septet (jazz, latin; label fresh sound/new talent), Vardan Ovsepian Chamber Ensemble (jazz; label fresh sound/new talent), LaMuseMent (CD orange heart, label altrisuoni), The Boston String Quartet (CD spectrum), Oscar Feldman, Joe Lovano, Gloria Estefan, Steve Gadd, and more.
- She recorded, among others, with The Boston String Quartet, Jamey Haddad, and Oscar Stagnaro.

Hi Michele, It's been awhile....just wanted to see how you are doing. I am over in Barcelona....I've been here a few months, working on some new music. Anne just came over too. She randomly bought a Los Gatos Azules cd without knowing you played on it. Those are interesting compositions and great recordings. Anyway, hope all is well with you and Ronnie. Hey Michele! How you doin?!! Yeah, still in Boston, mid-life crisis continues...I'm about to start at NEC next week (eek!) for the Contemporary Improv Masters program....so it's all go!! Just about to move attics, and recorded my own cd (at last!!) in the fall, so trying to put that together...all is madness, but I think/hope its a good madness!! Would LOVE to visit SF again - was lovely....good memories....what's your news? Are you ever over East coast way? Hope you had a restful break, and wishing you peace and joy for 2009 - love Helen xx
