I have many many musical influences, too many to name, however I will name a few. Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Nancy Wilson, Supremes, Natalie Cole and Tina Turner would be a short list. I tend to grasp a little bit from varies artist and there style. I'm a fan of music. I believe in the song. Words, melody and the music are the elements of a song, but the injection of ones soul gives it everylasting life.
Sounds Like
Well, since I usually write with and for artists I sound like what the artist sounds like, What the artist is feeling at that time and what the artist is saying. I'm a vessel, words come through me. I connect with the artist on a level to give the best that he or she has to offer. That way when they are singing the words that come through me for them they can connect and sing from truth.
