For the past decade she’s led creativity workshops and helped thousands of people on the road to personal fulfillment and success. It was the top selling independent release at Tower Records in San Jose for 14 weeks. .. .. Her Madonna spoof The Wheels on the Bus was released through Shifty Disco Records and went to No. 17 on the UK charts. The accompanying video aired on MTV Europe. .. .. Now on her own record label - Beautiful Thing Records - Chappel was chosen as one of 100 Top unsigned bands in Billboard Magazine’s International Contests. In 2010, she was chosen as a finalist for "Best International Artist" in Australia, MusicOz awards, for her songs "Flying Free," "Time for a Change," and "No Place like Home." Her song "No Place Like Home" also won a Billboard Award in Americana/Folk last year. And two of her songs made the semi-finals in the International Songwriting Competition: "So Disappointed" from her CD "Simple Graces" in 2005; and "You Won't See Me Cry" from her CD "Shine" in 2008. .. ..
