What's a girl to do? I'm a singer songwriter who use to perform solo, and then I met my wonderful Husband Scott, who also performed solo... Together, we combined forces and created a family, 4 CD's and 10 years of music together....We are still as strong and in love as ever!! Together we've made it twice as Newfolk Finalists at Kerrville Folk Festival... 2004 with a song I wrote: Topanga Canyon... which is featured on our duo myspace page.
Even though my primary performing is with my Husband, there are times where his schedule doesn't warrant touring, but mine does... I'm still able and I'm still willing. Why not? The 4 songs on my myspace page ( wish I could add more ) are songs I've written and I play out on my solo performances.
I'm currently looking for Women's Festivals and Co-Bills with other female artists. I'd also be willing to tour as a backing vocalist and djembe player, to the right artist, if it fit our schedule. I have literally dreamed about singing backup for James Taylor. He's been my idol since childhood.... One of these days.. I'm gonna sing for him.... Wait and see!! Music has been a passion of mine since I was a kid, and I still live to play....
