michelle's Interests
General
i like to write about things im interested in in my blog - www.straycinema.com/blog
Music
i tend to listen to albums/ song repetitively until i get sick of them. this week it's the smiths - hatful of hollow
Movies
eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, the science of sleep, open hearts, sex lies & videotape, waking life, amores perros, the five obstructions, a clockwork orange, city of god, talk to her, sin city, electric shadows, a scanner darkly, tarnation, three colours red and blue. anything that experiments with film, and the process of filmmaking i usually find interesting - not to say il always enjoy it.
Television
city of men is good, its by the same director as city of god.
Books
the end of celluloid by matt hanson, who also created this website recently - www.aswarmofangels.com. in the blink of an eye (walter murch), kafka on the shore, mao's last dancer and most definitely pattern recognition by william gibson.
About me: i run an open source film project called stray cinema (www.straycinema.com). i want people to download and re-edit the raw footage from a film i directed in london, and create their own version of the film. you might make a more interesting cut than i do. what else about me...i have had a fringe for five years. i am not consciously nostalgic, and tend to live 15 minutes into the future. finally, on the 8th of august i will embark on a long flight to london and hold a 'real world' screening event which you are invited to, invitation below...
Who I'd like to meet: dreamy idealistic types who have an innocent disrespect for reality and tend to think almost anything is possible :)
I'm sorry I've been a crap friend lately. Yes desperately want to catch up with you. Will ring you today. Hope you are wonderfully well xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ed was in Paris for a few hours as he had a job interview there. But no, I went by myself. I spent most of the time in 3 different cemeteries and the catacombs which is a mass eighteenth century tomb full of bones and skulls of a million dead Parisians:
