Spending time with friends and family. Traveling and seeing the world. I love cruises! It’s the best way to see a sampler of God’s creation. Good food, lots of laughter and playing with my shih tzu puppies, Milan and Matisse are wonderful escapes for me. I love decorating, cooking and watching people enjoy my food. Discovering new art, reading a really juicy novel or a good book that expounds on a person in the Bible are great ways to relax. Strolling down an avenue or sitting at an outdoor restaurant and people watching has got to be the best entertainment of all.
Music:
I’m all over the map on this one! I love a little bit of everything. Calypso, reggae, Scott Blackwell does great gospel house music. Lori Perri is a fabulous jazz gospel artist, Oleta Adams, Regina Belle, Nancy Wilson, Lisa Fischer, Chaka Khan, Patti, Michael Buble, Luther Vandross, Peabo Bryson, Jonathan Butler, Babyface, Will Downing, you know what I’m talking about-- I like real singers, too many to name. New and up and coming I like Alicia Keyes, Norah Jones, Liz Wright, Corinne Bailey Rae, Kem… Love anything instrumental and easy listening, a secret rock and roll lover- love a mean guitar, and I must confess just a tad of country just ‘cause it makes me feel like a woman and they tell such good stories!
Television:
Anything on HGTV—gotta love Project Runway, Top Chef, American Idol, all the black and white comedies from Father Knows Best to the Andy Griffith Show. Everybody Loves Raymond including me, I like intelligent comedy like Frasier, Seinfeld, old Cosby Show reruns, Two and a Half Men, 30 Rock.

Like Water for Chocolate, Sense and Sensibility, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, The King and I, West Side Story, To Sir With Love, call me a hopeless romantic, the list is too long and I know I’m leaving off something...
