Michelle Martin solo Singer / Guitar songwriter
I guess my influences are Chet Atkins with his finger picking style, my Dad taught me to play the guitar from the age of 12 and we focused only on Chet Atkins style which shows through my guitar playing.
My Son David gave me the inspiration I needed to write more when he said that I sounded ok, I have over 20 of my own songs now and people give me a good feedback.
So far I keep writing songs and recording them at Red house recording studios, must be something I need to get out; achievements are such a pain in the arse aren’t they.
Michelle has 3 albums finished now, at the moment Michelle has teamed up with a double bass player ( Justin Twigg) and Anthony Pascall on Djambe
