Rastafari first and foremost!
Then there's Life itself. Give thanks and praise for the gift of life.
Not forgetting:Bob Marley, Benjamin Zephaniah, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Mutabaruka, Judy Mowatt, Jackie Kay, Michelle Scally-Clarke, Martin Glyn, Maya Angelou, Lisa 'Monolisa' Jackson, Dave 'Stickman' Higgins ... to name but a few.
Not to mention all the guys and gyals that get up on the Blackdrop open mic and drop their stuff... Nuff talent!
And not forgetting of course the younger generation. Listen to them! They are our future!

Greetings good Earth people! ... And those from other planets... Welcome to the inner thoughts of: Michelle 'Mother' Hubbard
The Original Irish-Jamaican Lyricist, storyteller, poet, drummer!
Take a look, buy the book 'The Irish-Jamaican' OUT NOW
... As featured in 'The New Nation' and 'The Irish Post' ...
This book is an exploration of Irish connection via the cultural blend of the established performance poet Michelle ‘The Mother’ Hubbard.
A rich diverse cultural mix explored and examined through a selection of purpose written poems that are thought provoking, probing, and questioning; with a light hearted twist and dash of good humorous.
Rejecting the terms mixed-race, dual-heritage, and bi-racial for a term more accurate and reflective; Michelle brings you her genetic ancestral celebration: ‘The Irish-Jamaican’
