"When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace." ~Jimi Hendrix

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

Lang, Etta James, Jennifer Holiday :) I know there are others I love...I'll just have to add 'em later! Movies: The Princess Bride; One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest;Hair; The Hot Rock; The Green Mile;Ever After;Singing in the Rain; Its a Wonderful Life; The Philadelphia Story; If I had a Million; The Sound of Music; An Inconvenient Truth;Midnight Run;Working Girl;Little Miss Sunshine;Sideways;Ace Ventura pet Detective I;The Lion King;Funny Girl; The Mask I;A Fish called Wanda;Beverly Hills Cop I;Down and Out in Beverly Hills; The Sting;Starman; The Turning Point;A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court...and I just know there's a bunch more "serious" movies I love...but I'll have to add 'em later.    About Michelle Tuthill
Michelle Tuthill has been singing since the age of four, when her opera singer father and concert pianist mother discovered her running around the house imitating her father's opera recordings. At the same time (it was later told to her by her grandmother) she would make up plays, and sing and dance them out ...leading to her first professional singing/acting gig when she was seven at The Pasadena Playhouse. Michelle performed professionally throughout her childhood, and two of her favorite memories were getting to fly in "Peter Pan" at The GoodSpeed Opera House on the east coast, and being cast as a soloist at thirteen, in "Werther" at The Music Center in Los Angeles. Since then Michelle has become a force to be reckoned with...both as an in demand session singer for many diverse artists, including : Gamble and Huff (writers for Wilson Pickett, Dusty Springfield,The Jackson 5, The O'Jays, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, etc); Dexter Wansel and Bunny Sigler (writers for Patti LaBelle, Marilyn Scott, Evelyn Champayne King, The Stylistics, etc. ); Rocky Burnette; Rado, Ragni and MacDermot ( Tony winners and writers of "Hair"); Kid Creole and the Coconuts; writers at Disney, and many others... as well as a dynamic and versatile live performer. Some other fun credits include: winner on both "Star Search" and "Showtime at the Apollo" when she was signed with the legendary producing and writing team of Gamble and Huff; soloist On-Broadway at The Shubert Theatre in "Enter Joseph Papp"; playing Dusty Springfield and Janis Joplin in the Off-Broadway production of "Beehive"; touring as the leads in both "Grease" and "Hair" in Europe and in the states; and headlining on Royal Carribean. Michelle's versatility has enabled her to perform as lead female vocalist with many wonderful bands completely differing in style and musical genre, such as "The Melvin Sparks Blues Band"; "The Stan Rubin Swing Orchestra"; the doo-wop group "Starlight"; the gospel group "World Color"; and Arrow 93 fm's house promotional band "The Classic Rockers"- opening for "Toto" at "Taste of Newport" and Glen Campbell at The CBS 4th of July Party...singing anything from Janis Joplin to Grace Slick and Tina Turner... to Bonnie Raitt to Dusty Springfield and Aretha Franklin. Michelle just finished a run as one of the leads in "Smokey Joe's Cafe: The Songs of Leiber and Stoller", singing her "arse" off as a rock and roll Diva. She has an uncanny ability to connect with any and every type of audience, both with her warmth, her "larger than life- built for the stage" persona and sense of humor, combined with her big voice- which can fluctuate between soulful and gritty to smooth and sultry, combined with a vibrant, colorful and sensual stage presence. She's known for being a vocal chameleon...proficient in all genres : pop, rock, soul, blues, r&b, jazz, etc. She says : "If I could only sing in one genre, I'd get bored! I'll just have to be known as a "cross-over" artist! If you think about it, everyone on the planet is multi-talented (whether they know it or not- look at Picasso- a genius in both styles of painting!)...why should we limit ourselves?!" This past year, Michelle sang for our troops as a headliner with the USO in "The Michelle Tuthill Rock and Soul Revue", and can be heard on the newest release from "Kid Creole and the Coconuts" : "Too Cool to Conga" (a swing tribute to Cab Calloway)- singing lead on two tracks as the featured guest vocalist, and billed next to her name as "Torch Singer Deluxe". Michelle is "so thankful to be able to sing for all you lovely folks on the planet that I've had the pleasure to sing for so far, and to those of you that I am blessed to sing for in the future... may we all completely enjoy this wild, crrrazy, blissfull ride!!! And...don't forget: miracles can happen EVERY DAY, and DREAMS COME TRUE!!!"

aum

we have arrived.
we have transcended beliefs to be the light of divine experience and the knowing!

as christ, prophet mohammed (shanthi/peace), buddha, our oneness with source transcends all beliefs to simply be supreme peace of the moment- ahimsa.

ahimsa matures in time.

we are the awake to peace that is love. we are awake to being ahimsa- supreme peace, non-killing, non-violence and the experience of pure being.

we are the remnant karma of all sages within this breath of divinity that is radiant in all the living and specially ours in expression of this magical moment in time.
we are the purpose that uplifts humanity! we are the supreme peace and perfect love representing all sages of all the past in this beautiful moment of now.
