About me: The Michigan Bike Festival is a celebration of the bicycle. There will be bands, vendors, organized rides, mountain and road, night rides and tons of family fun.
On site rustic camping will be available at Hanson Hills Recreation Area.
Hartwick Pines-located 9 miles from the festival and is connected to Hanson Hills Recreation Area via a paved bike path. It offers modern camping with electrical and full service hook-ups.
Lake Margerethe State Forest Camp Ground-rustic camping 5 miles from the festival on the northwest side of Beautiful Lake Margerethe. Sites are available on a first come first served basis.
Hotels-there are many hotels in the area. Those interested should contact the Grayling Chamber of Commerce.
Proceeds from the event will go to Hanson Hills Recreation Area as well as the North Michigan Chapter of the Michigan Mountain Biking Association. Interested parties should contact Hanson Hills at 888-876-2196 as well as the Bicycle Shop at 989-346-6868.
