Interview with the Gentlemen
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourselves? A: Sure, we're HONOR SOCIETY, the Gentlemen of Rock. We're a rock band that mixes it up with pop/R&B and hip hop.
Q: How long has the band been together and how did you get started? A: We've been together for about three years but we feel like we only got started this past august whenmAlex (our drummer ) joined the band. He completes us.
Q: Who are your musical influences and what sets you apart from other bands today? A: Our influences range from Prince and Michael Jackson to The Dream, Jay-Z. Its a pretty wide range. What sets us apart is that our music has big rock choruses but usually the verses show off our r&b and hip hop side with the beats, and Mike's vocals.
Q: Do you write your own music and lyrics? if so, what inspires the lyrics the most? A: We do write our own music and lyrics. Relationships usually influence our lyrics the most. All the angles of the relationship from meeting to breaking up!
Q: I know you have recently recorded some new music, how is that going? Any plans to release a CD? A: It's going amazing. We're really pouring our heart into these recordings. We'll be releasing an EP on iTunes in a couple of weeks so look out for that. In the meantime check out www.myspace.com/honorsociety to hear our first single "See U In The Dark" on our music player.
Q: What has been your most memorable experience together as a band? A: Probably the first show where everybody in the audience knew every word to all our songs, that’s a pretty amazing feeling. You feel validated that you're doing something right.
Q: Do you have any interesting or funny fan moments you would like to share with us? A: Yeah our fans have all caught on to saying 'duh' like we do..they've even started to incorporate it into their Myspace names like "Aman-duh"
Q: Is there anything else that you would like to share and What would you like to tell your fans? A: Yes, first we love you all, duh. Second tell all of your friends to add us and check out our music and our web series "The Gentlemen's Club" all of which can be found on our Myspace page. Lastly stick with us, we won't let you down.

Michigan Honor Society Fans's Friend Space (Top 4)
I wanted to let you know about a special project that we're doing! We are going to give Michael Bruno (the lead singer of Honor Society) an AMAZING birthday present this year that literally comes from the fans! We are asking fans to send in actual birthday cards (or letters/drawings, but nothing that won't fit in standard envelope)! We will put these cards in a box and wrap it! On August 1, 2009, Kimo will be meeting the gentlemen and Michael will receive the gifts.
