I'm only one dude with severe ADD. If you are playing a ska show or know of a ska show going on anywhere in Michigan (or maybe real close to Michigan) please let me know so I can add it to the list!
MichiganSka.com was envisioned and created by Michigan ska artist Matt Wixson during the final months of 2005. He takes full responsibility for the constant lack of content. If anyone would like to step forward and create and/or maintain an actual website (for free please!) apply within. Help is definitely needed.
MichiganSka.com intends to be a useful hub of information for the betterment of the Michigan ska scene. On the to-do list is show listings, band bios, music hosting, video hosting, interviews, reviews, and more! So far there is only a message board (which could use a little more activity).
Then why a Myspace? Well, Myspace is the (evil) wave of the future. And since there isn't an actual, functioning MichiganSka.com yet, Myspace will do pretty nicely to host things. It's easier to promote a Myspace page for a website than it is to promote the actual website. From this Myspace we can easily add shows, create events to invite people to, send out bulletins so that everybody interested can find out about information, and so on.
