【略歴】 ～HPより抜粋～
幼少時にピアノを習い、クラシックの流れる部屋で育つ。
1度はデザインの道を志すが、自分がゼロになった時、「これからどうやって生きていこう」というところまで追い込まれた時、助けてくれたのは音楽だった。飾り立てるものは必要ない、音楽に生涯を捧げよう、と決意する。
2002年より再び音楽の道へ。
ライブ活動と平行してレーベルスタッフを経験後、
2004年よりシンガーソングライターを志し、制作活動を開始。学生の事、J－POPが好きで、何度もCDショップを通ったこと、いつしか民族楽器の音に惹かれるようになったこと。この２つをうまくミックスして科学反応を起こせないか、と、作詞・作曲を独学ではじめる。
2005年、ファーストマキシシングル『ウレイバナ』全国発売へ。
ラジオ、新聞、雑誌などのインタビューを経て、同年、夏の水郷祭にてビリケンと出演。
また、都内ストリートライブを展開する中、まだ演奏の場が少なかった生まれ故郷・島根県のアーティストへ、公共の場所での演奏が出来るように、“山陰から音楽を発信しよう”を掲げ、夏の野外ライブイベント『夏の虫の音～Natsunomushinone～』を主宰。
2006年、月イチ配信のネットラジオ『RADIO U』（ポッドキャスティング）開始！
レーベル合同オーディション優秀賞により、音楽専門誌『プレザンテ』掲載。
読者人気投票1位によりネットラジオ『NET ALIVE』紹介。
夏の野外イベント『夏の虫の音vol.2』で400名の動員を果たす。
同時期にFM山陰開局20周年記念イベントで、エイジアエンジニア、
デパペペ等と出演。ケータイ小説『浸透記憶』の主題歌を歌う。
2007年、松江市教育委員会の支援により講演会（トークライブ）が開催される。
朗読＋歌、踊り＋歌、連弾、趣味のアフリカンパーカッション（djembe）などを取り入れ、
都内＆地方ライブへ。
2008年～
現在、楽曲制作中。人の心を揺さぶり、まるで生まれ故郷を思うような懐かしさと、悲しみとは別に、体の奥から熱い涙がこみあげてくるような音楽を目指している。

Born in Shimane, Japan, Michi was raised by her loving parents. While growing up, her parents always played classical music which they loved. In the course of nature she began to take piano lessons at a young age.
Although once she aimed to be a designer with her natural sense of the arts, she realized what she really wants in her life is music which has always comforted her and stayed close to her heart. In 2002, she decided to devote her life to music and returned to pursue her passion.
In 2004, after having experience working as a label staff while performing in live concerts, she set about to produce her own music. She soon taught herself how to produce music with the sense she acquired as a student through listening to pop music and her all time favorite "World Music" with folk instruments. In 2005, her first single was released nationwide.
She had an opportunity to perform at the summer Festival with Biriken through interviews conducted by radio stations, newspapers, and magazines.
In the summer of 2005, she successfully presided over an outdoor live event in her hometown called, "NATSU NO MUSHI NO NE"(The sound of Crickets on a Summer Night) for artists from her hometown to provide them with an opportunity to perform on a larger scale.
In 2006, "RADIO U" (pod-cast), her first monthly net radio, was released. It was received with great reviews and then she was featured in "PRESENTE", a magazine which specializes in underground music artists. She acquired No. 1 readers' vote in the magazine. Soon after she was featured on the radio station "NET ALIVE".
In the summer of 2006, she once again accomplished her duties of presiding over "NATSU NO MUSHI NO NE vol. 2" which had an audience of over 400 people.
Around that time she made appearance in the 20th anniversary event of FM SANIN with artists, such as ASIA ENGINEER and DEPEPE, and performed the main theme of "SHINTOUKIOKU", a widely popular cell phone novel.
In 2007, her exhibition (talk show) was held with a support by Matsue City Board of Education.
Combining recitation, songs, dance, and African percussion (djembe), she ventured to perform in live concerts in and aroundTokyo.
Presently she is developing herself to produce music that strikes at the roots of listeners' hearts and allures tears in comfort, reminding them of their past.
