Mickey Dee, The Big Mac, Mike Bars, and The Original Wanksta. Mickey Dee writes, mixes, produces, performs and records almost all his songs at Tha Boof and Kitchen Kutz Studios in Portland, OR. Contrary to most hip hop artists, he also composes all of his beats as well. Rarely using samples, he tries to stay as original as possible. Cuts such as "Like Thugs","Follower", "Parental Advisory","Sockback", "Never", "Switch It Up", and "Like Mike" are entirely original compositions, made by Mickey from scratch, using no samples, also a rarity for hip hop. Mickey Dee mostly does solo work, but is also part of the groups "The Party Police", "G-Spot","The Verbal Felonz", and "UnBranded". His biggest collaborators include Karess, Young Roi, Million, YUNG B!RD, Sosa and The Plot.

Mickey Dee, aka Mike Bars, is a Portland raised emcee and producer, as well as 1/3 of the hip hop group The Verbal Felonz. His next album, The Mikerophone, is expected to be released mid August. His third LP, Barrmageddon, expected early 2010, will seal his trilogy of solo albums.
