We are located in the near-east side's Willy St. neighborhood, on the corner of Thornton and Williamson St., next to the Yahara River.
Bar Hours:
Mon.- Fri. 4pm to bartime;
Sat. & Sun. 10am to bartime
Kitchen Hours:
Mon.- Fri. 5pm to 10pm;
Sat. & Sun.:
Brunch: 10am-2pm (mmm, Bloody Mary's and Mimosas!)
Lunch & Dinner: 2pm-10pm
History: Mickey's is one of the oldest operating bars in Madison. It was built in 1902 as The Yahara Hotel, serving mostly factory workers in the area. (More history will appear here in the near future.)
Drinks: We have daily drink specials, reasonable prices, potent cocktails and damned good bloody marys!
Food:
Mickey's now has a kitchen!
We have, what was described in the Isthmus as, "elevated bar food": daily specials and soups, salads, chili, burgers (including a great veggie burger and the much loved and recommended Mickey's Burger), sandwiches, grilled chicken, pizza, mac & cheese and more.
We've won the Isthmus ad hoc chili committee's informal chili contest in the Isthmus.
The menu and some of the prices have since changed ever so slightly, but you get the general idea, right? Anyways, it's best to just come in and have a drink while you peruse the menu.
Don't forget about our Saturday and Sunday Brunch from 10am to 2pm!

As well as bands playing on most Sat. nights, Mickey's has a few regular music events:
