I love creating things, art, crafty stuff, cooking, gardening, anything I can get my hands into! It may sound hokey, but I love spending time with my family, they're pretty cool!! I have a really cool job that I actually like going to, I work as a graphic designer (and "go-to gal) for a company that makes corrugate (cardboard) displays for companies like Coke, movies stuff, PetSmart.

I have this really eclectic musical taste, my car radio pops all around the dial from classical, to classic rock, oldies, new stuff, even jazz sometimes depending on my mood. I love singing in the car!
Some of my favorites are Fleetwood Mac (even the old stuff with Peter Green and Danny Kirwan), Simon and Garfunkel, Abney Park, Lorena Mckennit, Enya, Elton John, Abbey Lincoln, Starhawk's Reclaiming CD's, Materdea, Smashing Pumpkins, Rusted Root, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Sarah Vaughan, Mozart, Steve Vai, Red Hot Chili Peppers, "old" No Doubt, Sting, and my daughters Ska Punk and Techno mix CD's!
Movies
It HAS to have a plot, special effects are great and all, but if the plot is full of holes or non-existant, I don't really want to give it two hours of my life! :o) There are so many good ones out there, let's see...here's some I can never turn off if it's on...The Crow, Raising Arizona, As Good as it Gets, Practical Magic, Donnie Darko (seriously, if you haven't seen it, you must), Lord of the Rings trilogy, anything Hitchcock, Labrynth, August Rush, The Secret Garden, The Matrix, All Mel Brooks' movies, and all Monty Python movies "She turned me into a NEWT!" Television
My schedule never works for me to watch most stuff on network T.V., so I end up getting hooked on the series' that play more than once a week...Curb Your Enthusiasum, Seinfeld, Sex in the City, Doctor Who, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (aka The "News" LOL) The Colbert Report, Battlestar Galactica (the best show on SciFi!), Dr. Who, Looove Torchwood, Being Human, Ghost Hunters, Rome (on HBO) Flight of the Conchords (that's really freaky Bowie!) Not a big reality T.V. fan, but Survivorman is good. By the way, I have a DVR now, LOVE it, I can watch all my shows and never miss them! Yeah!
Books
I have more bookshelves that anyone living in the size home I live in should have, I love books, but I can't name them all, here's a few of my most recent faves...Earth's Children series (the first is Clan of the Cave Bear) I Elizabeth, Wicked, Son of a Witch, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister (I'm really loving Gregory Maguire's stuff) The Rowan Gant Investigations by M.R. Sellars, The Dune series and of course, Tolkien. The Harry Potter series is wonderful fun, and I'm a big fan of the Fairy Tales of The Brothers Grimm and Anderson. I read a lot of non-fiction books on magick, my favorite authors include, Ellen Dugan, Doreen Valiente, Raven Grimassi, Scott Cunningham, Dorothy Morrison, Christopher Penczak, Amber K, Z. Budapest In short, I will pretty much read anything that's not nailed down.
