About mick welch // elektrosouls recordings

Having been introduced to electronic music at an early age via my dads Jarre, Vangelis and Kraftwerk albums i was hooked. When 89-90 arrived it was the Detroit techno / Chicago house sound that fed my ears with early Derrick May [WJLB] mixtapes. Through the 90's attending the legendary Lost nights in London taking in sets from the likes of Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin and Derrick May. At some point in 2009 i have music to be released via the excellent "Abstract Forms" imprint details of which will come nearer the time. Also coming soon, our long awaited "Elektrosouls Recordings" with a view of releasing music from myself, label co-owner Sam Birrell and other like-minded purveyors of deep electronic music on good old fashioned 12" vinyl.
