Diverse, dynamic, convincing. If observed faithfully these seem to be the correct words to describe all previous productions of MM&JD. Even years later this Munich team works like a Swiss watch and produces sensational tracks. Their secret is having fun having ideas.
Since the turn of the century both protagonists inspire the music community with their wide-variety sets. In the end of the 90’s Micky convinced the electro lover community in Munich. Joseph then moved his home base to Cologne and worked in the Playground Club as resident DJ.
They did not break the tie and met regularly to party together, to exchange music news and last but not least to get their fist studio experience.
2003 Mr. Disco moved back to the Bavarian metropolis. Arrived in Munich the go ahead was given to the new common project Monzza vs. Disco. They were main players at such events as Love Parade, Rave on Snow and Thaibreak, were on tour in Arena in Berlin, Dachkantine in Zurich, Hospital in Sibiria and many other clubs.
After innumerable gigs they decided to record their musical input. Both artists have rented a studio which shelters now their endless ideas. 2005 in cooperation with Domenic D..Agnelli the project DMS was launched. Their first track Troia & Pianissimo released by Great Stuff was very successful and was followed up by remixes for Pineapple, Plasteline, Great Stuff and Platform B.
In the year 2006 Micky and Joseph signed an exclusive contract with Great Stuff Records.
One year later they released in co-operation with Lützenkirchen their new track “Bounce Baby”, a house track with klickerbeats appearing to be endless. Which enjoyed great popularity in the world-wide DJ charts. The disc has been refined with a deep Oliver Koletzki remix and became even more popular.
New productions of the Duo are coming up beginning of the next year. Of course with no lack of groovy beats and first class remixes.
