Micro Organs is a 23 year-old singer, songwriter and love-enthusiast from Halifax, Nova Scotia. She started making music in 2004 yet she’s been singing and writing lyrics since she was a child, harmonizing with the vacuum cleaner and giving poems to all the good ghosts and ghouls.
Haunting, sad yet optimistic. Realistic. Ripped open rib cages, raw elements and callouses. Soft spots turned into shells. One tiny angle of human nature. Decay and death and living, through smooth harmonies, chaotic scratching and screaming. Organs and guitars and beats that make your feet want to stomp out a rhythm all it's own.
Her music consists of heart and soul. It places you in the hands of the forest, hides you beneath a canopy in a dark and golden forest, then leaves you alone to survive on your own, and to ponder your part.
