In the early 1980's, concerned with the Cold War, the Canadian government and NORAD sent a secret team of scientists to the Arctic. These brave young men and women were chosen for their cunning intellect and knowledge in the physics of sound and snow. Their objective was to find a way to broadcast waves across the north pole to make polar bears attack communists, should they ever try to invade North America.
After the fall of the Berlin wall, with no purpose left, the group was dismantled. All the researchers had in their possession were unemployment checks and the frustrating knowledge that the Soviets had way more awesome analog synthesizers all along.
Three of them decided to head back home to Montreal and start a multimedia techno act.
