Midas Touch, a classic lined-up Guitar-Rockband celebrate the spirit of Rock by using Blues, Folk and Grunge elements since 1999. The band..s members are living in Germany and Hungary. Each of them living near the river Danube, the vital line of peace in Europe. So lots of different influences play a role in the songs of Midas Touch. Never throwing an eye onto Mainstream music, but catchy, psychedelic, melancholic and sometimes powerfully rocking songs. The band loves to give Live Shows most! Midas Touch are writing and recording their songs in Hungary where all their influences come together: First of all it is Rock, then Rock and then once again Rock. They catch fire by visiting concerts with traditional Gypsy-Folk-music. They had their biggest partys in the
90..s with the music of the great Seattle Bands. All of the Midas Touch musicians grew up with Blues music.
The first guitar tunes Kriki Szabo (guit.) played, were those of Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page. Therefore he loves his "Les Paul" Guitar. By the way he is a porcelain artist of the classic school. One of the members of Europe..s finest Led Zep tribute bands "Zep Session".
Chris Schöning (voc.) started with songs of the legendary 60..s Rockstars Mountain and Cream and came to Brian Setzer and Eddie Vedder. As Rock DJ he was well known in the local scene. He started to write his first songs in a Blues Rock Band. Now he is a psychiatric ward and singer of Midas Touch.
Christian Hau is the more "Fender"- fixed guitar player, complementing the sound of this german hungarian Rockband. He loves Metal! He harmonizes with Kriki..s guitar playing like noone else.
On bass guitar is another hungarian friend, Balazs Cseh. He represents the Led Zeppelin - John Paul Jones like influences, but is a very eclectic musician. He also was a member of "Zep Session".
After Tatai Tamas, former drummer of Midas Touch and actual member of the Jon Lord (form. Deep Purple) - Live Band follows Olli Lutz on drums. He already worked with Midas Touch as drummer for the special "Acoustic Live Set" where Midas Touch give so called "unplugged shows", also playing titles of David Bowie, Pearl Jam and Johnny Cash. Building bridges between music streams, Midas Touch go for gold. Means, everybody who opens his doors of perception, will be guaranteed greatest, golden satisfaction!

Eine ungarisch-deutsche Rockband, die Genre Grenzen sprengt. Gitarrenrock, wie aus den besten Zeiten des Rock wird in die Neuzeit transportiert. Funkensprühender Gitarrensound trifft auf kraftvollen, emotionalen Gesang.
Man erinnert den frühen Hardrock von Led Zeppelin, den Glam David Bowies oder den Folk Neil Youngs. Psychedelischer Rock.
Man kann in folkigen und epischen Balladen schwelgen oder zu treibenden, heißen Grooves mitgehen. Auch im 3/4 Takt entstehen Prog- und Folk- lastige Werke mit Power!
Bei all den Einflüssen klingen Midas Touch, wie Midas Touch.
Chris Schöning (voc.) schreibt die Songs in Kooperation mit Kriki Szabo (guit.) aus Ajka (HU), er ist der Arrangeur und Composer. Hinzu kommen die versierten Musiker Christian Hau (guit.) aus Ottobeuren (Bayern), Balazs Cseh (bs.) aus Veszprem (HU) und Olli Lutz aus Kirchdorf.
Alle zwei ungarischen Musikerfreunde spielten auch in der Led Zeppelin Tribute Band ZepSession und haben schon Manfred Mann..s Earthband als Support eingeheizt. Der Sänger Chris Schöning ist sowohl in Blues Projekten, als auch in einer klassischen Rock N..Roll Band schon zuhause gewesen. Christian Hau spielt auch in der Blues-Funk-Rock Gruppe Toxic Blue. Olli Lutz (dr.) ist auch mit Voice It unterwegs.
Live, emotional und mit versiertem Spiel auf der Bühne:
Midas Touch wollen sowohl als Rock Band, als auch als Folk Projekt in variabler Besetzung überzeugen. So spielt die Band auch zeitweise mit Gergö Nagy, einem bekannten ungarischen Gitarristen der für Midas Touch schon mit seiner Mandoline im Studio zur Verfügung stand,oder auch mit dem Percussionisten Balazs Glück. Beide waren auch als Gastmusiker des Debut Albums "1st Touch" dabei.
Mit Beginn des Jahres 2009 kam eine digitale Veröffentlichung des Albums "1st Touch" auf allen großen Download Portalen auf den Markt. Jedes Jahr im Sommer gehen die fünf Musiker ins Studio, um neue Songs aufzunehmen. Sie warten noch gespannt auf den Verleger ihrer aktuellen physikalischen CD. Ganz sicher werden Midas Touch auch dieses Jahr auf einigen Bühnen - irgendwo zwischen München, Wien und Budapest zu sehen sein. Um es obigem englischen Infotext gleichzutun: Ja, Midas Touch streben nach Gold, indem sie verschiedene Musikströmungen zusammenbringen. Und jedem, der die Pforten seiner Wahrnehmung öffnet, wird größte, güldenste Befriedigung zuteil!

Az 1999-ban alapított zenekar 2007 óta játszik ebben a nemzetközi (magyar-német) felállásban. Zenei stílusunkat - ami leginkább a indie rockhoz és a sub pophoz áll legközelebb - a következo zenekarok határozzák meg: Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Black Crowes, Mars Volta, The Cult, Iggy Pop & The Stooges... Reméljük, hogy a rockzene utolsó igazi fénykora nem ......"Seattle......"-el zárul.
