What's Up?
NYE 2008---M.A. ended 2007 with the song "Hell's Gate" commencing with Auld Lang Syne w/ Dead Unicorn sharing vocals. The first song of 2008 was a rare Jimi Hendrix tune, "Earth Blues" with Guthrie, J.I.P.I., and MO belting the choruses, "Love, Love, Love. Yeah there's got to be some changes. Love, Love, Love. A whole lot of re-arranges. Love, Love, Love. You better hope love is the answer. Love, Love, Love or we'll be gone before the summer."
ROcktober---M.A. is in full ROCK effect! new songs. more sweat.
Well we had ourselves a pretty darn good Summer. Hot damn!
May---Middle America has been crowned the capital region's best band thanx to the Emergenza Festival. A BIG BIG thanx to Emergenza and especially the rock bus.
March---We are VERY EXCITED to have Guthrie Lord as the new bass player! He is an excellent musician and adds an amazing dynamic to Middle America. There will be many upcoming shows to get wild with the new and improved M.A.
January---Middle America has just finished recording at the very cool Substation Studio in Housatonic, MA. Thanks to engineer Robby Baier for the help and great vibes (sorry if it is still smokey in there rob). The tracks you are hearing have B. Funk, the original bass player. The full length album was cranked out in all of 3 short days. This was M.A.'s first attempt at recording professionally and we did it while being completely independent. STAY POSTED FOR YOUR COPY OF MIDDLE AMERICA'S FIRST ALBUM!
