Middle Rhythm Session continues to come about because of several ideas scribbled
on napkins, quite a few characters, rumors, truth and lies. And, maybe it will
be a good story someday… For now it continues to be Jake Hunter and Joe Cosas, (friends
since High School in St. Louis, MO.) who have the privilege and a really great time
making music with Michael Bortz and Kyle Krukar (friends they have met along the
way).
Middle Rhythm Session continues to attempt and honor the sounds of our influences
(you be the judge) and create the sounds we want to hear (we’ll be the judge on
that one). We like to play. And we like to tease. The sound is clean, progressive,
textural, and in many ways familiar. Rich vocals, good tone, fearless soundscapes
and strong lyrics are the recipe… we hope you agree. But more than that we hope
you enjoy it. Now more than ever we do too.
Basically, we don’t want to tell you what or who we sound like… we would appreciate you listen for yourself. After all, we can only sound like ourselves.
OUR STUDIO
We own a 5000 sq/ft building on 70 acres of land we call Crooked Tree. It is about 50 min north of Tampa or so. We rehearse, record, and perform there... If you've been there, you know. If you haven't visited Crooked Tree... come check it out.

The Brittany Nation Foundation Designated Driver Awareness Concert 14 bands @ The L A Hangout in Lutz, FL. This is an all day event to raise awareness in using a Designated Driver always.
