Up until now little is known about Hakeem Abdul-Shaheed a.k.a Midget Molley a.k.a Little Caesar, besides the obvious, he was gettin' money in a major way. By the time the crack era rolled around in the mid-80's, Midget Molley already had two decades of street-life under his belt. At the tender age of eight, Midget Molley lost his father. At age nine he hit the streets, running illegal numbers and shining shoes in Atlantic City, a hot town in New Jersey known for mob bosses, hustlers, pimps and pretty women. The spots to be at during those early days of Midget Molley's life was the 508 Bar, the Kit Kat, Nut City and the Night Cap. With the Motown sound as a backdrop, Midget Molley was right there soakin it up. His eagered nature came through with his willingness to do whatever to be recognized by the top hustlers at that time. HE TOOK TO THE GAME LIKE A FISH TO WATER. In the early 70's Midget Molley took a break from the streets and became a member of the Nation of Islam up until the passing of Honorable Elijah Muhammad in 1975. Midget Molley then picked up the therapeutic scent and sounds of the streets and found his way to the corner of KY & the Curb, (Kentucky & Arctic Ave). With a vicarious ambition we excitedly explore the life and times of Midget Molley from the safety of our comfortable trappings. It's the equivalent of being thrown into a pit, staring into the eyes of death only to be rescued moments before being devoured. This is that story about that little black kid from Jersey.
