The Musicians’ Union was formed in 1893 and represents nearly 33,000 performers, composers and teachers. As well as negotiating on behalf of its members with major employers, the MU offers a range of services tailored to working in the modern music industry.
In the Midlands, the MU represents nearly 3,300 musicians from all genres and backgrounds.

We have 3 rates depending on your status or income
Premium £22.50 per month by direct debit for those earning in excess of £16,000 per year.
Standard £12.50 per month by direct debit for those earning under £16,000 per year.
Concessionary £6.25 per month by direct debit for those in full-time education.
