Mike Weiss' COMEDY CRISIS is a producer of different kinds of comedy shows. Our signature show is MIDDLE AGE WASTELAND, "Standup Comedy for Midlifers by Midlifers". The result is a smart and very funny evening that people of all ages will enjoy (not that Spongebob isn't smart and funny). Middle Age Wastleland has been featured in the Home News Tribune, The Princeton Packet and the Asbury Park Press among others. It is the perfect show for fund-raisers. community shows and corporate. We also produce a few other shows including "Mothers Irreverent Loud and Funny" aka "MILF Night," an evening of Mom Comedy with optional token dad and the young comedians showcase "Under the Hill" with optional token Middle-ager. We can also put together custom themes ie "Gay Comedy Night" with optional token heterosexual, or "African American Comedy Night, with the optional token white guy. We can also provide sketch comedy or improvised comedy shows hosted by, you guessed it, the token stand-up comedian. ;)
These shows, as with "Middle Age Wasteland" are available for fund-raisers, community and corporate events. No Bar-Mitzvahs, Baptisms, or Brisses please.
And lest we forget the Comedy Crisis Comedian Competition where amateur comedians are rated by audience vote. Some of the contestants will tickle your funny bone; others will test your gag reflex. Come down and vote for your favorites. You get to be the Decider!
