Greeting from the Midlife Crisis Band
The Mid-Life Crisis band of Whitinsville, MA, was started by John Phelan (lead vocals / guitar / keyboards), Scott Mackintosh (drums) and Steve Skillings (vocals / lead guitar) in the Fall of 2002 as a means for kicking around and having some fun. It was literally one of those "Blues Brothers" moments where we said, "we're puttin' the band back together."
Soon after our first jam session Jack O'Brien joined on lead vocals and, during the Spring of 2003, Alan Donati joined MLC filling out the rhythm section as our bass player and helping out on vocals. The goal, have fun ... and we do!
From that point on, the focus of the band shifted from casual get togethers to getting out in the community and making music. The band has made numerous appearances and has been successful in building a strong and loyal following within the local community. The band looks forward to many years of fun and making great music. Some come on out and help us to "Keep On Rockin' in the Free World".
If you'd like to have a good time and listen to live music that makes your toes tap involuntarily, then come on out and see us live. We've been known to drag a few "volunteers" up on stage, so be prepared. :o)
