Whats it all about............?
Well It's all about a group of has-been wannabees from North East
Manchester (Oldham) in the UK thrashing out a few tunes for
personal enjoyment. More than anything it's about having fun but
instead of just messing about for our own enjoyment we are quite
happy to be taken advantage of at fund raising events for charities or
organisations, or even private parties. The deal well basically we are
very cheap, free of charge, although donations for us to pass on to
a charity would not be refused when performing at organisational
fundraisers or private functions.
Our limited kit and personal commitments might mean we have to say
no to some invites, even though we’ve moved on from practice amps
we may still have to say no to doing the MEN Arena, but you can be
sure we'll do our best to say yes!
The name! Ah! We have to thank Clare H for that. Whether a precise
observation of male decline or just a throw away suggestion? …….
it seemed to fit nicely.
Hey there.. Thanks for the request and add! We new 20 years ago that there would be a lot of bands out there with the MLC name so we added the "and the alimony horns" tag to it! Great to hear from you.. Keep on rocking. MLC and the alimony horns. :-)
i must surely be up in there in the fan base having travelled all the way from london at least twice for a MLC gig?!! did you see the way i just abbreviated their name... wild! x
