We have no direct connection to Lamb's Retreat, but think it is a wonderful resource for Michigan songwriters and would encourage everyone that can to attend.
Mission
Statement of Purpose
To advance songwriters and the craft of songwriting in the Mid Michigan area.
Statement of Objectives
Our objectives are to educate area songwriters through monthly meetings, performance nights, recording and publishing of material that will aid in the craft of songwriting.
Started 10 years ago the MMSG has put on songwriting contests, songwriters' workshops, and a compilation CD. We will continue to look for new and fresh avenues to highlight the songwriters and their songs. MMSG is a not for profit organization. It has no employees. Officers and committee personnel are strictly volunteers.

Thank you for the ad! We want to let people know about our CD release party coming up on Wednesday, May 13th at 7:30 p.m. at the Jazz Cafe downtown (350 Madison). In addition to Black Hat, performing from their new CD Phases of the Sun, M.L. Liebler's Magic Poetry Band, bigSHORTY, and Leonardo will also be on the playbill. It will be a good time! Please come and bring friends.
This benefit is to raise funds for Grant Neeb's funeral costs.
