About me: The Center Project (TCP), established in 2003, is a grassroots organization dedicated to establishing a new, nonprofit community center that will focus on the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and ally (LGBTQQA) residents of Mid-Missouri-- an 8 county area (Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Cole, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau and Randolph).
Opening on May 9, 2009, The Center will provide a resource library, workspaces, meeting rooms, a youth-only space, a computer lab, a social area, as well as programs, services and special events/activities. The Center will provide a safe, reliable meeting and program space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, and ally (LGBTQQA) residents of mid-Missouri and will offer educational and personal development opportunities for participants.
The Center is the first facility dedicated to supporting the LGBTQQA population of mid-Missouri.
Who I'd like to meet: We'd like to meet adult & youth residents of Mid-Missouri who want to have fun while contributing to our community!
I hope everyone comes by the TCP booth at Earth Day tomorrow. Look for us across from Shakespeare's Pizza by 9th street and enjoy some wonderful weather!

Little Mama's Burly-Q Revue's mission is to challenge dominant paradigms of sizism, racism, classism, heterosexism and all the oppressive -isms that interlock to privilege some while oppressing others.
