Midnight Ridazz has been going strong for two years in Los Angeles with nearly 600 riders gathering each month. The San Francisco chapter started in March 2006 and we want you to be a part of it. This is not a critical mass!!! This is a monthly free for all, themed party on your bike. Dress up! Ride!
Hey, guess it didn't get out earlier... The theme is supposed to be Kung-Fu!!! But I guess a Kung Fu / Cinco de Mayo hybrid theme is okay too. =) The ride ends at the Transfer for $5 Tecate + tequila. See y'all on the ride (in like an hour and a half, heh).
I believe "cinco de mayo" theme is on. Pretty much the usual except we'll drink tecate instead of PBR. If anyone knows of somewhere good (an authentic ranchero- esque bar) to end up, please make suggestions.
If nobody has calle a theme for this Friday I propose a belated cinco de mayo. We could be el cycletas de media noche. Or something like that? I'll make spoke cards and bring some tequila!

Experienced Bicycle Mechanic (mission district)
Box Dog Bikes, a worker owned cooperative, is looking for a skilled mechanic with experience in the bicycle industry. Good verbal communication skills are essential, both with customers and fellow employees. Applicants must be experienced in all levels of bicycle repairs. Responsibilities will also include assessing repairs for customers, attending to customers, following procedures on opening and closing store, performing daily cleaning tasks, and acting as a cashier. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, learn quickly and work well with others. This position will be part to full time and is intended for the summer season with a possibility of permanent employment. Compensation: $12 an hour plus on the job training.
