Robot. I teach and showcase Robotic Mannequinn movement and Poppin' dance styles. I dont think Im ALL THAT,but,with my many years of experience, I try to do and be the best that I can be. I LOVE to draw and sketch,pencil picture portraits,personalized greeting cards,fantasy-sciencefiction,illustrations, designs,logos,tattoo samples,ect..When Im sad or really lonely, I get really creative-minded. I love to entertain crowds,to play some LOUD funk,to breakdown the 'Breakdown' of Robotics, make people laugh, put smiles on peoples faces,especially the kids(they need as much positive influences as they can get).Thru my artwork and dance,I try MY BEST to spread positivity and togetherness ,which hopefully, could make everybody talk, laugh,and get along ,with each other(Look at the 'Popper's picnic08'page,which is on my top friend list-the first one,and see for yourself.)---------As an artist I've been into art (look at the slide show underneath) since the 3rd grade.I use my art to express myself,and to help others express themselves. As for dance,I became seriously interested in dance at about seven. I started Robotic Mime about 1974,1975,creating my unique style of mixing Robotic movement, Mime and Manniquin poses to music.I then started Popping(Robotic Bop,Hitting,Vibration-Syncrynization,Waves-Water-Rock-Bounce-Snake,Tuts,Animation,Animotion,Comical Mime) since '77.(Click to "www.westcoastpopping.com" for a detailed interview).Then,when the Hip Hop era dance styles first evolved , I blended those with my original unique styles,while also adding a 'exotic' mentality. As 'The Midnight Dancer', over the years,I've performed in numerous city wide parades,festivals,talent shows,grand openings,fundraisers,concerts.ect. I just thank GOD so much for my little gifts. Im the creator and original member of the Robotic/Boppin dance troupe 'The Big Bopp Theory'.Im also the creator (with help) of the "OG Poppers Picnic".You might catch me doing my "5 Minutes of OG(Original) OldSchool Funk and Dance Show" on a busy streetcorner near U. I started that on Hollywood Blvd n Highland Ave ,once or twice a month on Saturdays.It creates crowds!! Look at the LAST video,or my blog to see. You should come thru if you can.You can 'FEEL' the 'Funk'.People KEEP askin me 'When you coming back to do it again?????' So now I'm just passing my art and dance knowledge down,with a smile .
