| About Midnight Evils |

We're a just a bunch of rock and roll bums trying to make it through this world without losing our damn minds. We're from Minneapolis and we like it here, although we love playing elsewhere. We've toured the US a bunch of times in support of our record Straight 'Til Morning on Estrus Records. That record was released in 2003 and was recorded with Tim Kerr down in Austin, TX at the Sweatbox. Mike Vasquez and Bryan Nelson were there too to help engineer the whole thing.
We were honored to learn that the legendary BBC DJ, the late John Peel, was playing the record and we were subsequently invited to record a "Peel Session". In Nov. '03 we did just that! We also played a week's worth of shows in the UK.
In 2004 we again headed down to the Sweatbox, with Tim steering us in the right direction and Mike twisting and tweaking the knobs. The record is this year's Breakin' It Down, again on Estrus Records.
We're headed to Europe in September and we'll be touring the US soon...so look out!
