The Midnight Flyers's Showcase
The Midnight Flyers have a style heavily rooted in the blues, ranging from slow to up tempo and rockin’. Their sound hints at George Thorogood, ZZ Top, and Robben Ford. Gritty vocals, attacking guitar riffs, and a solid, rhythmic groove give this three-piece the ability to please any audience.
The members of The Midnight Flyers have come together from a variety of other local bands to create a solid bond with a tight, well crafted sound. Their latest CD, titled “Out of the Blues” has been getting favorable reviews from local radio DJs, and has started making the rounds on internet radio shows such as The Road Rash Blues Show on Kansas City Online Radio. Its sales have reached such worldwide locations as France, Finland, Scotland, England, and Moscow to name a few.
Each track has been extensively road-tested, slowly evolving to the recorded versions found here. Their tight background vocals add a pleasing foundation to the mix.
Right on, luv the ZZ-T sound you guys got going on. Maybe some day we'll get a chance to meet as I am actually in Turlock. SDuring the mean time keep up the good work, and

Battle of the Bands at Tonic Monday night 30 Jun at 9:30. Very important. Winners are determined by audience participation, so we could use you and your most obnoxious yelling voice. If we win, we get money and a trip to Vegas to record, so please come out and bring some love!
You should come out to our show Thursday 12 Jun (and every Thursday after that!) at Big Dog's Bar & Grill [corner of Perrin Beitel and Wurzbach Parkway] at 9:30. All sorts of unfathomably great things tend to happen at a Flatfoot Susie show:
* you will have the time of your life
* you will contribute to the ground floor of success for a great blues-rock trio
* you will develop immunities from future illnesses
* the adult beverage of your choice will be served to you by attractive and desirable members of the opposite sex
* the price of gasoline will fall approximately $1. 32 per gallon
* you could win a chance to beat up a printer like those guys on Office Space
* your carpet will look like new!
Come see the band whose claim to fame is that we are routinely ignored by most music fans in San Antonio! See you there!
* chances of actually beating up a printer as thoroughly as those guys from Office Space: 1 in 765 quadrillion
