About me: Midnights at the Baxter is the only place to catch cult films on the big screen at midnight in Louisville, Kentucky. Films are shown at midnight every two weeks at Baxter Avenue Theatres in Louisville, KY (www.baxter8.com). No DVD projection - all the films shown in their original 35mm glory! The films shown range from horror (Evil Dead 2, Rosemary's Baby, The Shining, Return of the Living Dead) to action with our "Splodin' Summer Series" (Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan, The Fifth Element, Serenity, etc.) as well a variety of others (Pink Flamingos, Donnie Darko, A Clockwork Orange, The Goonies, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, etc.)
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who enjoys the experience of seeing a cult film on the big screen with a theatre full of fans who love the flick just as much they do. __________________________________________________________________ A semi-accurate trailer for our next "Midnights at the Baxter" film - Sergio Leone's "Once Upon A Time In The West" playing on July 12!
Thanks for the belated birthday well-wishes, and for showing "Dick Tracy" last night. Truly great stuff. I'd never seen Breathless cry when Big Boy slapped her until last night. Good times. Now, about "Tombstone"... ;)
I would love to see John Carpenter's In the Mouth of Madness, Prince of Darkness. What about the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie? Transformers the animated movie or even the live action Masters of the Universe? Maybe Phantasm or even Last House on the Left?
Awesome job 2nite w/ Kill Bill! even though the Floyd Theatre left bars of soap of every car in the parking lot advertising "Fight Club". they suck trying to steal all the spotlight. lol
