Formed in February 2006 in downtown San Luis Obispo, California. Midnight Shark Attack made our first public appearance 10 days after our first rehearsal - an opening slot at a Dead Meadow show, to which the main attraction never arrived. Officially on hiatus since July 2006, the band picked back up briefly in April '07 and began recording sessions for their first LP release. No shows are currently scheduled but watch this spot for news in summer 2008.
In case anyone is in the bay - we hope to see you at our show tomorrow (Tues) at Hotel Utah. It is our last show of 2007 and you can check out 'Jodie' on our website (www.soundsofarcadio.com) before we release our full EP in the next few months.

We must eventually share a stage, Fuck Squid vs. Whale... it should be Squid vs. Shark! But in a fun sparring sort of way haha. We both seem to be elusive little suckers, but one day we should just suprise everyone and do a random show. I've been listening to Midnite Mako on repeat today... I dig it
