About Midnight Sun (New Moon Unofficial Score Out Now)

Hi! My name is Sam Cushion, and this is my TwiRock project called Midnight Sun. I started the project back in August of 2008 after I finished reading the whole Twilight Saga in one week (yes I was one of those instantly obsessed people, I didnt even know there was a movie coming out until I finished New Moon and my brother was like "hey they are making a movie out of those books"). I have loved reading about vampires since I was in high school, yeah im 21 and graduated in 2005 so I feel OLD, but I loved the Twilight Saga so much because it didnt focus on making a story around the gore and erotic seduction of vampires, it was a true love story where Romeo happened to be a vampire who at any time with just one false move if even unintentional he (or his whole familiy) could kill Juliet. So needless to say vampires+awesome love story=my obsession.

I have been playing music since I was 10 when I joined the Shallowater, TX Middle School Band. I played trumpet all throughout high school and loved it (yes I am a band nerd). I moved to Aledo, TX (about 30 min from Dallas/Ft Worth) when I was 12 and thats the year I got my first guitar. Since then I have been writing and recording music 24/7. I would not by any means say I am better than average at writing music or singing, its just what I love to do. So here I am 10 years after my first note on an instrument and still writing and not listening to anyone telling me I am too old to write music about a girl who falls in love with a vampire.

So I hope you like my music and please help support my habbit and grab a song from iTunes or amazon.com or whatever. I give alot of songs away for free on purevolume.com so dont get discouraged if you dont have a credit card or whatever.

Check back often. Like I said I write and record at my home studio 24/7 so I release ALOT of music, and I am going to start giving more of it away as free downloads.
