Call me Heinz’57. An only child,born at Holy Cross Hospital,Fort Lauderdale,Pompano Beach,FLA. Grew up on the inter-coastal canal Pompano Beach,FLA.and also Sturgeon Bay,Wisconsin. I gave my name to fame with a swimming achievement at 11 months old.Learning to swim underwater at that age was unheard of back in the 70's..My private swim instructor would come to our home and give me private lessons as my mother was never allowed near me as I learned,she would watch me from her bedroom window. My teacher then wrote a book about me.I had my 1st head-line newspaper article swimming at our private pool. I was also featured in the Wisconsin newspaper,the Door County Advocate as the the youngest swimmer to swim this distance with my head and body under-water,it was extraordinary for everyone.My Grandpa,Vernon E. Olson,of Olson Excavating Co.had 2 homes on a canal in Fort Lauderdale,FLA. and a special underground pool built for me..it was actually his idea to get me in the water..he said to my mother..at 11 months old Mary Ann can walk,now she's gonna swim. My Grandpa,Vern aka "Ole",a 32nd DEGREE MASON had a home back in the mid-west on the water in Sturgeon Bay,WI. designed by Frank Loyd Wright architect (he owned Olson Excavating Co.) Here is my grandfather in a magazine article with his Clark machine. He got his first Caterpillar truck from Frank Evinrude,the owner of the New York Yankee's.Prior to excavation business he owned a Beer Depot he was "Head Brewer Master" for Cherry Land Brewery. He was the very 1st to have a colored television and intercom system in his home in Door County, WI.back in the day. Gramps also rolled with names you have heard of Snap-on-Tool Johnson" who invented Snap-on tools", Frank Evinrude of "Evinrude Boat Motors"(who was married to Frances Langford)of Ft.Lauderdale, also Davidson from "Harley-Davidson" who played cards with my grandma down in Ft.Lauderdale,good friend, Palmer Johnson from "Palmer Johnson Yachts",Henry and Lila Burger of "Burger Boats". Al Capone who had many hiding spots up in Door County crossed paths with my grampa Vernon. True story:Capone rolled through my home-town Sturgeon Bay, WI.one time,he had a flat tire on the side of the road. The police came to assist him,they went in the trunk of his car to pull out the spare but he had a trunk filled with Tommy Guns so they had to unload each gun (and those were pretty big clunky guns back then)so there is Al Capone on the side of the road with a flat and here are all of his Tommy guns lined up in a row on the side of the street,..the police helped him load the guns back in one by one and let him be on his way. My grandpa Vernons best friend Grampa Dan Krause ( my surrogate grandpa) owner of "Kramp Construction" Milwaukee, WI. Here is my Grandpa Dan always with a cigar, this advertisement was in magazines and billboards,he was spokesman for Caterpillar machine. (Owner of KRAMP CONSTRUCTION, it was THE biggest construction co. in the whole state of Wis.back in the 60's and 70's)Al Capone helped them out when the Unions came down on them..my grandmother said this about Al Capone.."the government came down hard on our excavating co.and Brewery and Al Capone was there to help" "I saw the good side of Capone.. what people dont know is that he was a good man too" I was very close to my grandmother, Gertrude family they were very hard workers in fact,my grandfather,a Mason,and 32nd Degree Mason. His father,my great-grandfather owned a bar in WI.now called 'Poohs Corner and started out in masonry. My grandma walked 3 miles one way to school and 3 miles home everyday and was never late a day for school. My mother Reta,was a 1st grade teacher for 32 years. Our family enjoyed traveling around the globe. When I was 10,we toured Japan, Thailand,it was beautiful,and at that age I remember so much of the trip.When I was 11 we toured 13 countries in Europe. When I was 12 went 2 Egypt, India,China and Pakistan. When I was a teenager age 15 I won THE MISS TEEN WISCONSIN "MISS PHOTOGENIC" AWARD.I was then asked to compete to be in the Miss USA pageant but I decided to further my education instead.(to be continued) In high-school I was captain of cheer-leading for Basketball, Wrestling,and Football all in one year.The summer I graduated from high-school I studied at The University of Wisconsin Green Bay took summer college prep courses there then went to college at University Wisconsin STOUT,Menomonie,WI. and studied Retail Merchandising and Marketing. They love to party at STOUT! (big Up's to my Pink Flamingo's Tracy,Missy,and Tami) From there I received a scholarship to study in London,England. So I lived in London for a semester of college at The American College of Applied Arts, a school filled with some of the wealthiest kids in the world.Now studying Interior Decorating and Designing,switching majors.Spent the next year at Wisconsin STOUT then went back to study in London again..( loved it so much).. ended up in a movie called "Shining Through" starring Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffith. Then went back to study at Stout for one semester and figured that I wanted to discover Los Angeles.. so what not a better way to do it but finish up my last year of studies at The American College of Applied Arts,Westwood,Ca. Graduating in the top 10%of my class at the Beverly Hills Hilton,with a major in Fashion Merchandising/Business/Marketing degree. The best years of my life were my college memories.I encourage every young adult out there to go to college the minute you finish high-school... education comes first. (womens air force) starring Michael Douglas and Melanie Griffith, titled:” Shining Through”. our dressing rooms the old Batman studio. my 1st taste of the movie biz. and my Equity paychecks weren’t too shabby, 18 hour days on the set Oi Vey! I remember working 23 hours one time. this movie desired me to pursue a career in acting. David Seltzer is a legend in the film business, what an honor! My acting resume, over 14 years of experience’ under my belt‘.
