K-Lee	May 28 2008 6:58 PM Most of you know I have been working on this idea for several months now and it is coming to fruition. August 16 is the date for this affair and I am presently working on the press release and promotional information. Before I can complete that I need to know who is going to perform in this event. So far I have Natium, my bellydance troupe who will perform an oldey timey saucy dance set. I have Ban Dal from Orange County California, our tribal sisters out west who will be doing a 1940s themed bit. We also have Michelle Reynolds from San Fran coming to hot ol AZ to show us some her her sassy assy burlesque! Soliel is saying they'd like to take part in the show as well which means live music! Hells Yeah! And I am pretty certain the Naughty Knickers are taking part in this one too (Heidi?). Troupe Salamat has also expressed interest but I have to speak w/Terri as she is handing some life stuff right now. And that is just the preliminary info. So my question now is this; are you interested in taking part in this show? Themes can range from saucy bellydance (think Mata Hari) to burlesque (old classic is my fave but that doesnt mean modern will be shunned) to past eras-inspired pieces to even the arty and unusual. We can perform with fire in this venue IF you can show me current, up to date insurance. I welcome use of props as well and partial nudity is ok (pasties and G strings at the very least). This is a CABARET In the true sense of the word, not referring to what we usually use to define a type of bellydance. Think of a Vegas show complete with showgirls, dance numbers and yes, perhaps even some bellydancers. This is an event where all artistic expression of experimental bellydance and dance styles are WELCOMED! You in or what? I'd love to have you and/or your troupe!
