Midryasi was born in winter 2002 by the minds of Guanera, Convulsion and Sapappah,with the idea of creating a heavy sound inspired by Doom and Psychedelic rock,still having in improvised material the main source of inspiration.
The name Midryasi comes from the pupill spreading in hallucination, emotional or death state; to reflect both the heavy dark and the psychedelical side of the band.
Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, Pentagram...Progressive Rock?
Midraysi's mainly amazing feature is the capacity to sound like all these bands and none of them, to mix a doomy, psychedelical or extreme influences without any fall of coherence or personality.
Doomsword, Agarthi, Fiurach, Hatred and Necroflesh are the names of the bands in which the members are or have been involved in more than ten years of musical experience.
The band's debut demo was enthusiastically greeted by underground & major press, until Iron Tyrant prod. came and decided to re-release with professional booklet amd remastered while one year of intensive live activity has peaked into the partecipation at the first Stoned Hand of Doom festival with Italian doom metal masters "The Black", "Doomraiser", "Abysmal Grief", "Misantropus" ecc.
The artwork, too, was made 6 conceived by the band itself as a further proof of the originality and creativity of this power trio. During the following two years the band got many great reviews and made several gigs, among them the Stoned Hand of Doom festival, chapter II. In the meanwhile, many new tracks and ideas were born from the twisted minds of the trio.
At the beginning of 2007 Jon left the band and was replaced by Paul Paganhate (Hatred, My Last Keen). The band then made a new apparition at the Stoned Hand of Doom Festival, chapter III and composed new tracks.
Hi-tech solos, Ozzy-inspired vocals and blasting rhytmic session, Midryasi sounds like Midryasi but for every Black Sabbath Heavy Rock fanatic!!

After a pretty exhausting delay, we are finally proud to release the first in a series of 7"ep's on IRON TYRANT. Teaming together for the first time of vinyl after sharing the same stage in more than one occasion, here's the cream of Italian Doom Darkness. DOOMRAISER from Rome have established their name as one of the few truly convincing pure doom metal acts. Their punishing "Caves, Mountains and Monoliths" pretty much gives you the idea by the title alone. This IS Doom Metal. MIDRYASI have changed their guitar player since their 2005 debut on Iron Tyrant and have gained a considerable amount of live and songwriting experience in the process. "Another Hell Within" is yet another piece of pure schizoid doom with influences ranging from C.FROST to SAINT VITUS and a zillion other bands.

MORTUARY DRAPE "Secret Sudaria" Double LP OUT NOW!!!!
Following last year's successful vinyl release of "Into the Drape" and "Mourn Path" on a great looking LP and Picture Disc LP, Mortuary Drape and Iron Tyrant team up once again for the definitive vinyl release of "Secret Sudaria", the band's highly acclaimed 1996 album, exactly 13 years later. This slab of occult black metal is NOW summoned as a double vinyl in order to guarantee the best possible sound. Three sides contain music, while side D is laser etched for all versions. It is housed in a beautiful, varnished gatefold cover and will contain a 12" x 24" insert with lyrics and additional artwork. The following configurations are available:
regular black vinyls (both records)
picture disc (disc 1) and purple vinyl (disc 2)
special version: silver vinyl (both records) housed in a 2-sided silken cloth cover with silver print, sewn in silver thread.
special version: gold vinyl (both records) housed in a 2-sided silken cloth cover with gold print, sewn in gold thread. As if not enough, the Spacial versions will contain an extra 7"Ep with 2 demo tracks recorded in 1997 by the same Secret Sudaria line-up.
