    -Born in Lisbon, Portugal, based in the UK and living in London, midus gives herself to any musical style while maintaining her own identity & character as a bass player. As part of a band or independent session work, her rock-solid groove & extensive experience of International Tours, Studio Recordings & Television Promo has led to her to play all over the world. She began playing bass and formed her first band at the age of 12 and by 18 had put together the band "Roquivarios", based in Portugal, signed to EMI-Valentim de Carvalho. They toured all over the country promoting 2 albums.The band split up and midus began her solo career as a signed artist to Polygram. She then moved to the UK to work with Luis Jardim for one of her releases as a solo artist in Portugal. Loved the London music scene so much, she stayed. For the last 12 years, midus became a session and live backup player for numerous other performers: -Anne Clark- Tanita Tikaram- Bryan Ferry- Suggs- Hugh Cornwell- MelanieC -Cathy Dennis- D'Morgan- Kym Marsh- Daniel Pearce- Meja- Amelia- Byron Stingily-Billie Myers and many others.. Top of the Pops, CDUK, Live with Jools Holland, This Morning, Pepsi Chart, TFI Friday, Radio One Shows, Road Shows, Fully Booked, VIP Show, Surprise Surprise, Afternoon Live, MTV, MTV Europe, Rock Palast, David Letterman Show (New York), VH1, GLR, TV Specials in the UK and various TV/Radio appearances around the World.
