Thursday, Nov. 12: Ghetto Blaster Rocks Out!

Ghetto Blaster is the combination of members of Grey Leaf, The Wandering Fools, the Sandwitch Factory. This collaboration of musicians or ubergroup works together to make high energy party dancing music. The story of our music is told through pure improvisation and a different tale is told every night. Don't miss a show otherwise you might miss an important chapter in our saga.

http://www.myspace.com/ghettoblastermusic

Friday, Nov 13: Blake Thomas & Josh Harty (Full Band)

"Sung with resonant soulfulness, the evocatively melancholy title track [Flatlands] ought to become the Midwest's national anthem." -The Village Voice. "Each tune is carefully crafted, focusing on the intricacies of intertwining instruments as well as the poetics of the lyrics... Perhaps most distinctive of those pieces is the voice of Blake Thomas. Like Robert Plant or Eddie Vedder, Thomas creates a sound I fall victim to every time. It takes only one note to recognize the voice and realize I need to hear more." -The Badger Herald

Saturday, November 14: Pan America

Authentic Reggae and Caribbean music featuring Jamaican born Karstan Stora on Caribbean Steel drums, plus an all-star lineup of local talent backing him up including Mike Larscheid on bass, Lew Seiler on guitar and Jim Kirkpatrick on drums. The shows start at 9:30pm, never a cover!

Dear Friends.

I am about half way done with my latest update to my page. Come take a peek and listen to the first song from my up and comming cd. Right now the release date is in December.

A new feature I have added is you can now post your favorite song from my playlist to your profile.

My theme is fall, with the songs having a since of wanderlust.
I hope that you enjoy my pictures and songs, and you will return to my page when it's completed.

I am currently recording the other five songs and putting together the final touches.

I hope you will take the time to listen, look at my pics and post a comment (please, please, please) about your favorite song from my playlist.

Have a terrific fall, and take care
Thanks,
Jeff Moats

Have you talked to the governor lately?? You can just pick up the phone, dial 608-266-1212 and his friendly staffers willl take your message; " Please make the Jacki Rickert Medical marijuana Act an Executive Order and end patient abuse." They'll be glad to hear from you and you'll be glad you did, because you'll ease the suffering of hundreds of thousands of people

Dear WISCONSIN fRIENDS,

Here in Wisconsin we have a small window of opportunity to reclaim the public's right to use whatever medications, either natural or prerscribed in the maintenance of their health.
I'm talking about the Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act. Cannibas
hemp has been used as a medicine for centuries. Eli Lilly had many preparations made from hemp that's recorded in their pharmacopeia in the 1920's. The DEA's Law Judge issued a statement that 'In it's natural state, marijuana is the most therapeutically active substance known to man.".
Many who are like myself and have neuromuscular ailments are prescribed drugs that are far more harmful to us than the symptoms
we are trying to get rid of. For myself it's about not having my kidney's shut down from trying to stop muscle spasms and ending the nerve pains that run down my legs that no drug prescribed by any doctor can ease.
Ideally,as a Constitutional Right,we should be able to use any product that has a positive effect on our individual health. Cannibas
hemp whether smoked, eaten or vaporized can do that for millions of patients and that right of choice should be ours, not lawmakers.
But we find ourselves needing the aide of Lawmakers to get that right returned to us.
If you support a person's right to use cannibas hemp or use it yourself, PLEASE contact you local Senator and State Representitive at;
http://www.legis.state.wi.us
and tell them to make the Jacki Rickert Medical Marijuana Act a law. Thank-you
