About me:
Help support the project

We are creating this site as we go along, labor of love if you will. Our goal is here is to highlight all the great contributions and give thanks to all the awesome bands that came out of the Midwest Punk Scene. If you have any thing you would like to share from photos to stories, we want to hear. We are looking to document all the insane achievements from bands, photographers, bookers, zines, artists, whatever and whoever; from the 1970’s thru today! Who I'd like to meet:
We are continually working on this website so please be patient. Our mission is to document and pay homage to many of the great bands and artist that have contributed to the creation of today's thriving Midwest punk scene. The Midwest has been severely overlooked by most punk documentaries and we want to change that. Not all punk bands are from California and New York. To successfully complete our mission we need your help. We are looking to interview as many people as possible that have contributed to the past and present punk scene. This will include bands, photographers, bookers, zine authors etc. We are also looking for photos and video footage from past and present shows. If you have anything to contribute please email us at info@midwesternpunk.com.
