Our company is centered in Columbus, Ohio, but we will not allow any limits. We are familiar with the Midwest, especially Columbus and Detroit areas, but we want to be everywhere. We expect to make contacts all over the U.S., we wish to network with Studios, Venues, and Artists from everywhere.

The Music Critic is a great site that is one stop portal to the music industry. Yes, it does have some information about popular music, but it is primarily made for Indie, New, and Local music.
What makes this site different from the rest is that they gather information from as many other sites and places as they can. They have an "Indie Music" section that only the site admins can update. This means that it filters out a lot of the BS you find on other sites where anybody can add their band.
The site does allow user News. So, participate and write about your favorite locals and indies. Then the site admins will gain interest to expose them more.
